Valenzuela City Mayor Sherwin T. Gatchalian urged all teachers to instill discipline and values to the students who will soon join the working society in the city. He stressed the importance of discipline in transforming Valenzuela into a vibrant place to live in.

How can this transformation be achieved? It is not a task of the mayor alone. All the citizens need to work together to turn this vision into a reality.

Each one plays a vital role in the realization of the vision. It may start with simple things like abiding by the rules and regulations in City Ordinances, and maintaining cleanliness in the community. This will be for the benefit of everybody.

Moreover, the youth sector can take an active part in all the undertakings. Instead of wasting time in unproductive activities, the youth, who are supposed to be the pride of the nation, can take a cue from the actions of the highest local official of the city. Acquiring self-discipline is not an impossible dream. It takes courage and willpower to change.

Let us answer this call for discipline!
