Mayor WIN Addresses Teachers in General Assembly

City Mayor Sherwin T. Gatchalian urged the Valenzuela teachers to transform students into better citizens and mold disciplined people through education during the General Assembly last June 2 at the Valenzuela Astrodome.

The mayor stressed the importance of discipline to ensure a vibrant future for Valenzuelaño children.

He also noted that teaching the value of discipline to school children would create not only a peaceful environment but also a clean and progressive community.
The mayor also emphasized the dedication of the administration to address the immediate needs of the city schools. The rehabilitation of old buildings and the construction of new ones have been prioritized and the completion of these projects has been a part of his long range plan to create a globally competitive education sector.

Also witnessed during the gathering was the distribution of school supplies for all the students and materials for faculty members donated by the Valenzuela City Government to the Division of City Schools headed by Superintendent Alma Bella O. Bautista.
